Crash Cart - A City of Heroes Supergroup News, Updates and Information About the Team Crash Cart Divisions and Organization Code of Conduct, Uniform Requirements Crash Cart Bases and Rosters Media, Downloads and Screenshots Links
We are an altruistic Supergroup based out of the Infinity dimension. Our goal is twofold: to defend the citizens of Paragon City and to assist the heroes that help them. In the course of attaining this goal, we also train novice heroes in the use of their powers and the responsibility that comes with them.

Crash Cart is a themed Supergroup, so unfortunately, established heroes are not eligible for membership — one must be trained from the ground up in order to join us.

In addition, we have strict naming and uniform requirements. Despite some limitations, such as no Spines Scrappers or Kheldians (our public relations division has noted an adverse civilian reaction to these types), we are a full service Supergroup that has placement for just about any discipline our recruits desire.

We expect our members to behave responsibly at all times; if you are unable to do so, there are many other Supergroups to select from. For any feedback, membership requests, questions, or answers, contact me at medictai_at_gmail.com or in-game "@Medic Tai". Stay safe, and keep fighting the good fight!

General Questions

Q: What servers do you play on?
A:
Crash Cart exists on all servers, but we tend to be on Infinity and Virtue, then Protector, Liberty, Pinnacle. If you have friends on a home server and you like our concept, feel free to create a Crash Cart representative there and play with them! Obviously you still will need to pass uniform inspection before actually being invited to the team on the appropriate server. Stay in Supergroup mode and help lay a new foundation for future base expansion!

Q: How often do you play?
A:
We are a VERY casual group. We have an overall theme, but no set times due to individual schedules. Generally, you may add members as global friends and you can probably find someone willing to join you on a given server. You can usually find us online on the weekends. We're a fun, adult group with lives outside of online gaming, so if you disappear for a week or three at a time, there won't be repercussions. We're also altoholics (i.e., love creating new characters), so chances are you can find someone doing something even if it's not Crash Cart-related.

Q: Do you role-play as a group?
A:
Sometimes. The few members we have are a good crew, and tends to go to 'roleplay light.' There is already something of a culture within each of the divisions, and you may play off of that as much as you like. Banter and witty barbs are appreciated, drama is not. We do not post the Global names of our team for a reason: regardless of what has happened in the past, everyone gets a fresh start with every new Crash Cart member. They can reveal as much or as little of themselves as they wish. Only the Chief and Attendings of each Ward (server) have access to Global names for coordination and administration purposes.

Q: Can I create a (Medic/Enforcer/Tech/Orderly)? Can I join Crash Cart?
A:
Yes, you CAN create one, but there is no guarantee that you will be accepted into our ranks. Please send @Medic Tai a message if you wish to join; we'll go from there. We don't recommend applying to join if you're a) someone who gets frequently /ignored, b) are argumentative, always looking for a verbal fight, c) are not a helpful team player. We are professionals, after all, and have standards to maintain. Having problems with authority isn't a problem...lacking discretion, tact and knowing when to be silent is a problem.

Q: I already have a character named (Medic/Enforcer/Tech/Orderly) XXXX, may I join?
A:
No, chances are you don't meet the height and gender requirements for each division. Either way, part of the training is starting from the ground up, so established characters are ineligible.

Q: What's with the uniforms? Can't I just wear (street clothes/leather/chains/barbed wire/my underwear)?
A: We are a THEMED Supergroup, which means that from our titles to our uniforms, we have a common theme going. Characters may wear whatever they'd like when they're soloing, but we expect you in uniform when there's another Crash Cart member on the team. In addition, we only require your first costume to be Official Crash Cart gear, as you gain experience, all other costumes belong to you. If you'd like to wear some of our variants and official gear, such as Hazard or Armored suits, then even better.

Q: Do you have forums?
A: If there's enough interest in one, /tell Medic Tai to get cracking!

Q: So I just got accepted/invited into Crash Cart, now what?
A:
Decide what role you'd like to play. Your role and aptitude determines the Division assignment. We have four Divisions for you to choose from. Read over our Code of Conduct. If you disagree with any of the guidelines, good luck with your future endeavors.

From there, decide on your uniform style. You may customize it to some degree, but if you lose the 'look and feel' of our team, you get sent back to the drawing board. Once you've created your Crash Cart member, make sure you find Medic Tai or an Attending officer for uniform inspection, even in Outbreak if necessary. It's easier to tweak from the beginning than to find out you haven't passed Standards inspection at level 10. The most important feature, of course, are the things which you can't really tweak easily, like height requirements, and to a lesser extent, physique. Don't worry, after the uniform requirements it gets pretty easy from there.

Q: Do I have to stay in Super Group Mode all the time?
A:
Until level 30, please stay in SG mode (click on Super Group -> Enter SG Mode). You don't always have to wear our Code Red versions (red and white) or even our standard uniforms if you're soloing. Just make sure you stay in SG mode (you see the little + over the circle where your experience bar is. Help us build a better, stronger Ward wherever you are!

Q: What is a Ward?
A:
Wards are what our servers/bases are collectively known as. This helps differentiate, for example, Tech Sierra from Infinity Ward versus Tech Sierra from Virtue Ward. If you are one name on one server, feel free to make that character on another server. Just do NOT duplicate names that are already taken that do not belong to you.

Q: What is 'Code Red'?
A:
Medics and any officer has the discretion to call a 'Code Red,' in which Enforcers and Techs switch from their default black and white (with red trimmings) to red and white colors. Each uniform except for Medic and Orderly have Code Red versions, see the individual styles for what those versions look like. If you're teamed with a Medic, assume that you need to be Code Red unless the Medic says you do not have to be.

Q: What are the ranks within Crash Cart?
A:
There are five ranks within Crash Cart: Chief, Attending, Senior, Resident, Intern. Each Ward is headed by a Chief, whether it be a Chief Medic, Tech or Enforcer (Orderlies cannot be Chiefs). Under them are the Attending Medics, Techs, Enforcers or Orderlies. Attendings are responsible for the day-to-day operations. They need to be impartial and fair in matters as well as knowledgeable about Uniform Codes and our standards. The third rank is Senior; these are trusted members who are able to invite members into Crash Cart, subject to uniform inspection, of course. The majority of our group is made up of Residents, who have proven themselves and their dedication to helping others. Interns are our newest recruits.
